Statistics

This section brings together relevant statistics from the series Datos y cifras de la Educación published annually by the Community of Madrid. Sections of these data have also been published in the booklet “Madrid, comunidad bilinguë 2015-2016 / Madrid, a bilingual community 2015-2016”, however with errors.

(Important: later issues in the Datos y cifras de la Educación series contain contradictions with earlier issues. Specifically, the number of students in public primary schools in academic year 2004-05 until 2008-09 are different in reports from 2011-12 onwards, as shown in the graphs entitled either “Alumnos desde el inicio del Programa Bilingüe Español-Inglés en Colegios Públicos, Colegios Concertados e IES de la Community of Madrid” (2011-12) or “Evolución del número de alumnos desde el inicio del Programa Bilingüe Español-Inglés de la Community of Madrid” (2012-13 & 2013-14) or “Evolución de alumnos del Programa Bilingüe Español-Inglés de la Community of Madrid” (2014-15 & 2015-16). The numbers reported here reflect those in the reports prior to 2011-12.)
